Job summary
Staffing-Agency-Recruitment in Maryland and Utah seeks experienced Linux professionals to support mission-critical environments. You will administer Linux systems, manage HPC, storage, networking, and platform engineering in highly customized infrastructure.
We require an active TS/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to work onsite. Familiarity with RHEL, SLES, HPC, and automation will be valued.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance and NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Professional Linux system administration experience across major distros (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, SLES, Ubuntu).
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot complex Linux environments.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and support Linux OS and applications.
- Work with RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, SLES, Ubuntu and other distros.
- Manage file systems, networking services, system resources, and applications.
- Diagnose and resolve OS and application issues.
- Develop Bash scripts to automate tasks.
- Compile, install, configure, and maintain software applications.
- Support automation and configuration-management initiatives.
- Monitor performance, availability, and reliability.
- Participate in upgrades, maintenance, and optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
- Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting solutions.
