Vantor Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Geospatial Developer to design, develop, test, document, and deliver web-based geospatial applications and services.

This role combines full-stack software development with geospatial expertise to support an intuitive map-authoring tool and the integration of geospatial data, databases, and services. The successful candidate will work across front end and back end, translating complex geospatial data into reliable, user-friendly capabilities and advising on

Qualifications

• Experience delivering full-stack web applications.
• Professional experience with geospatial data, GIS, or spatial data services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, or comparable technologies.
• Familiarity with geoformats like GeoJSON, Shapefile, GeoPackage, KML/KMZ, GeoTIFF.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, document, deploy, and maintain a web-based map creation application.
• Build intuitive interfaces to create, configure, style, preview, save, and share maps.
• Develop front-end components for data loading, field selection, and map production.
• Develop back-end services, APIs, and data processing workflows.
• Integrate with geospatial data, databases, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Work with vector, raster and service-based geospatial data.
• Ensure data formats, schemas, CRS, metadata and interfaces are correct.
• Write unit, integration, system, and user acceptance tests.
• Produce technical documentation on architecture, data models, and workflows.
