Job summary

Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) in Charleston, SC, seeks a Cleared Software Integrator GEOINT Team/Computer Engineer II to support Marine Corps intelligence software solutions. You will integrate software into existing baselines and contribute to new baselines within an Agile team.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with Windows, SQL databases, scripting (Batch/PowerShell), Git/SVN, and a Secret clearance; TS/SCI desired.

Qualifications

• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Proficient in administration of Windows workstation systems.
• Experience with Batch (Windows command line) and PowerShell scripting.
• Proficient understanding of Computer Science fundamentals in design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot root causes of failures for Windows systems and propose solutions.
• Experience with version control systems like Git, SVN, etc.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking concepts.
• Passion for actively contributing to an Agile development team, offering insight on design, architecture, and implementation of mission critical software systems.
• Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
• Secret level Clearance required;TS/SCI level Clearance desired.

Responsibilities

• Integrate software into existing system baselines and create new baselines.
• Research and develop innovative solutions for Marine Corps Intelligence applications.
• Communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
• Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods and lead meetings/work groups.
• Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
• Must attend work daily during scheduled hours unless traveling or time off.
• Ability to work on a computer for long periods and communicate with others by telephone, email and in person.
