Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking an Cleared Early Career Systems Engineer for Interconnect Solutions, onsite. You will apply operational systems engineering to support design, integration, and delivery of cable and interconnect solutions, translating customer needs into requirements and coordinating across electrical/mechanical stakeholders.

You’ll develop requirements, manage interfaces, verify readiness for build, test, and deployment, and track risks with mitigation plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent combos acceptable (AS + 4 years or no degree + 8 years).
• Experience with systems engineering processes, requirements, interfaces, risk management, verification.
• Ability to document technical information and evidence for acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Support design and integration of cable/interconnect assemblies and definitions.
• Develop and maintain component/subsystem requirements and interfaces.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams to ensure buildability.
• Define acceptance criteria and verification approaches; support V&V with evidence.
• Track risks, interfaces, and issues; propose mitigation plans.
