Job summary

InDyne, supporting the Atlantic Test Range in Patuxent River, Maryland, seeks a full-time cyber defense professional to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats across DoD systems. You will implement security tools, assess vulnerabilities, and document procedures in a fast-paced naval aviation environment.

Requirements include a BS in relevant fields, 3+ years in the field (or eligibility for Journeyman), DoD cybersecurity policy familiarity, and willingness to obtain clearance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS, Cybersecurity or Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience at Journeyman level; junior level has no experience required.
• DoD/DoN cybersecurity policy credentials required or achievable.
• Experience with STIG implementation and ACAS/vulnerability scanning.
• Visio or equivalent for architecture/data-flow diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Detect, identify, and respond to attacks, intrusions, and anomalous activities.
• Implement and manage SIEMs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, filtering, and data analytics tools.
• Monitor systems for malicious activity using cyber defense tools.
• Assess vulnerabilities and direct mitigations.
• Review vulnerability data, risk assessments, and authorization artifacts.
• Document CONOPS, procedures, and diagrams.
• Coordinate with government personnel and contractors on cyber risk and authorization.
