Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies seeks a cleared COMSEC Manager to join on-site at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. You will maintain COMSEC inventories, configure crypto hardware, manage keying material, and provide training and support to device holders while ensuring compliance with DoD security policies.

Applicants must possess TS/SCI access and a Top Secret clearance, with relevant experience in COMSEC operations and security programs.

Qualifications

• 0-5+ years experience with Bachelor’s in related field OR 0-3+ years experience with Master’s in related field
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 4-9+ years relevant experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with enhanced security checks
• Minimum Top Secret clearance is required to start

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date records of COMSEC inventory and submit required accounting reports IAW policies and procedures
• Configures and installs crypto hardware; troubleshoots issues and provides quick resolution
• Administer initial briefings and debriefings to individual users; maintain copies of all
• Complete required COMSEC training within required performance timelines
• Programming and distribution of COMSEC devices including STE, Sectera vIPer, and TACLANEs
• Order, receipt, loading and management of COMSEC keying material using SKL and other devices
• Provide technical and administrative support to COMSEC equipment holders
• Evaluate new COMSEC equipment and fax machines for customer use
• Provide technical support to facilitate interoperability of COMSEC equipment purchases
• Update and maintain SOPs for COMSEC activities
• Re-key circuits as required
• Assist in storing, managing, and maintaining COMSEC material and assets
• Assist IT with networking and cabling tasks
• Maintain COMSEC access list for designated areas
• Prepare and submit account correspondence and reports
• Conduct periodic spot checks to verify clearance validity
• Develop and conduct COMSEC training and materials
• Read network drawings for cryptographic requirements; perform hands-on installation and maintenance of COMSEC equipment
• Over-The-Air-Transfer (OTAT) of key material to remote sites
• Maintain interaction with COR
