Leidos is seeking a cleared Cartographic Analyst to support a government-contractor team in Springfield, Virginia. The role focuses on GIS analysis, chart production, and nautical chart conversion to support a national security customer.

The candidate should have a strong geospatial background and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. A partial telework option may be available; TS/SCI with CI polygraph willingness is required.

Formación

• Minimum of a High School degree.
• Five years of relevant geospatial experience or equivalent.
• Experience in geography, cartography and GIS (ArcGIS).
• Experience creating shapefiles, geodatabases and features.
• Knowledge of digital cartography and NGA data formats.
• Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery sources for NGA products.

Responsabilidades

• Provide cartographic production and GIS analysis as part of a government-contractor team.
• Perform Electronic Nautical Chart conversion and chart production tasks.
• Extract features from diverse sources including raster nautical charts and imagery.
• Update source catalogs and perform data conversion / migration.
