Job summary

Patriot Group International (PGI) is seeking a Cleared Armed Security Officer in the Phoenix, AZ area. The role supports data center security by enforcing client and PGI policies and safeguarding personnel and property.

The position reports to the Site Manager and requires maintaining post orders, access control, and incident response procedures. Candidates must meet the security clearance, possess a High School diploma or GED, and have 21+ years of age with the ability to obtain AZ DPS license.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• A minimum of one (1) year of security, or one year of local, state, or federal law enforcement experience; or a minimum of two (2) years of honorable military service, active or reserve, in any branch of the US Armed Forces
• A minimum of 21 years of age
• Ability to complete Arizona Security Guard License, including the application process, fingerprints, and background investigation.
• Ability to complete a firearms training course in compliance with Arizona DPS Security Guard License and conduct regularly scheduled sustainment training.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must fluently speak, read, comprehend, and write in English.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and periodic random drug screening throughout the duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve knowledge of post orders, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
• Prevent unauthorized access by enforcing Client and PGI policies, badges, locks and keys.
• Provide security protection for Client and PGI personnel and property within the assigned area.
• Report or respond to incidents, security, and safety concerns per post orders, including alarms.
• Monitor security cameras and other electronic surveillance systems.
• Guide and direct individuals throughout the Site.
• Assist in controlling locks and doors, including access control.
• Perform testing and inspections related to access control, alarms, and monitoring systems.
• Prevent theft of physical or intellectual property.
• Promote communication and awareness of security policies to clients, vendors, contractors, and others.
• Maintain standards of competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity per PGI and client codes of conduct.
• Execute and deliver various reports assigned by the Site Manager.
• Complete training and sustainment requirements as directed.
• Assist in collateral duties including armory and equipment maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
