Patriot Group International LLC. is hiring a Cleared Armed Security Officer for the Manassas, Virginia data center. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Site Manager and requires Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information with Polygraph clearance.

The position involves enforcing client policies, guarding personnel and property, monitoring surveillance systems, and maintaining security post orders and training compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve knowledge of post orders, policies, and standards of conduct.
• Prevent unauthorized access by enforcing policies including badging, lock control, and inspection of persons and equipment.
• Provide security protection for client and PGI personnel and property within the area of responsibility.
• Report or respond to incidents, security, and safety concerns per post orders, including alarms.
• Monitor security cameras and electronic surveillance systems.
• Guide, follow, and direct individuals throughout the site.
• Assist in controlling physical and electronic locks; unlock and lock doors as needed.
• Perform testing and inspections related to access control, alarms, locks, and monitoring systems.
• Prevent theft of physical or intellectual property.
• Promote communication of data center security policies to clients, vendors, contractors, and others.
• Maintain Armed Security Officer competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity; comply with PGI/client codes and uniform policy.
• Execute and deliver reports assigned by the Site Manager.
• Complete pre-assignment, client, state, and PGI sustainment training as directed.
• Assist in collateral duties, including armory and security equipment maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift: 12‑hour Panama Schedule (Days / Midnights)

Patriot Group International LLC. (PGI) is a Virginia‑based security and risk‑management company. We are hiring a Cleared Armed Security Officer for our Manassas, Virginia data center, reporting to the PGI Data Center Site Manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve knowledge of written and oral post orders, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
• Prevent unauthorized access by enforcing client and PGI policies, including badging, lock control, and inspection of persons and equipment.
• Provide security protection for all client and PGI personnel and property within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Report or respond to incidents, security, and safety concerns per established post orders, including responding to alarms.
• Monitor security cameras and other electronic surveillance systems.
• Guide, follow, and direct individuals throughout the site.
• Assist in controlling physical and electronic locks; unlock and lock doors and areas as needed.
• Perform testing and other inspection services related to access control, including routine inspections and testing of alarms, locks, doors, monitoring systems, and other mechanisms.
• Prevent the theft of physical or intellectual property.
• Promote communication and awareness of data center security policies to client employees, vendors, contractors, and others.
• Maintain standards of Armed Security Officer competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity, including compliance with PGI and client code of conduct and uniform policy.
• Execute and deliver various reports assigned by the Site Manager.
• Complete and maintain pre‑assignment, client, state, and PGI sustainment training as directed.
• Assist in collateral duties, including armory and security equipment maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of security or local, state, or federal law enforcement experience; or minimum 2 years of honorable military service, active or reserve, in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Ability to complete a Virginia Security Guard License, including application, fingerprints, and background investigation.
• Ability to complete a firearms training course in compliance with the Virginia Security Guard License and conduct regularly scheduled sustainment training.
• Reliable transportation.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, comprehending, and writing English.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening and periodic random drug screening.
• U.S. citizenship.

Required Security Clearance

• Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Virginia DCJS Security Guard license.
• Two (2) years of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Demonstrated history of safe and successful security operations in highly secure facilities.
• General working knowledge of the Lenel access control system.
• Handgun weapons proficiency.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to bend at the waist and knees.
• Must have the physical ability to perform a variety of training functions.
• Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, walk long distances, and climb stairs.
• Must be physically capable of standing a 12‑hour post.
