Job summary

Patriot Group International LLC. in Manassas, VA seeks a Cleared Armed Security Officer to join our security team protecting data center facilities and personnel. The role requires maintaining post orders, enforcing access controls, monitoring surveillance, and reporting incidents on a 12-hour Panama schedule (days/midnights).

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, U.S. citizenship, Virginia Security Guard license eligibility, and the ability to pass drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• A minimum of one (1) year of security, or one year of local, state, or federal law enforcement experience; or a minimum of two (2) years of honorable military service.
• A minimum of 21 years of age.
• Ability to complete a Virginia Security Guard License, including fingerprints and background checks.
• Ability to complete a firearms training course.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must fluently speak, read, comprehend, and write in English.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and periodic random drug screening.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve knowledge of post orders, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
• Prevent unauthorized access by enforcing policies, badging, locks, keys, and inspecting persons/equipment.
• Provide security protection for Client and PGI personnel and property within the site.
• Report or respond to incidents and alarms per post orders.
• Monitor security cameras and other surveillance systems.
• Guide and direct individuals throughout the Site.
• Assist in controlling locks and doors; perform access control testing and inspections.
• Prevent theft of physical or intellectual property.
• Promote security policy awareness among client employees, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain security officer competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity per PGI and client policy.
• Execute and deliver reports as directed by the Site Manager.
• Complete pre-assignment and sustainment training as directed.
• Assist in collateral duties such as armory and equipment maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
