Job summary

Armada Ltd is seeking Cleared American Guards to support Information Monitoring and Protection Services (IMPS) at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Jacksonville, FL. Guard duties include monitoring and controlling access, verifying credentials, logging activities, inspecting personnel and materials, and reporting security incidents to the Site Security Manager.

A valid 24-hour CAG training certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of experience within the last 5 years in ICD 705 construction site security, US Government or military physical security, access control, or technical surveillance countermeasures.
• Must hold a valid certificate for the successful completion of a 24-hour or greater CAG training course.
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend, walk, kneel, and other related physical activities for long periods of time.
• Must have a solid understanding of the ICD/ICS 705.

Responsibilities

• CAGs will monitor and control access to the Secure Construction Site to prevent unauthorized personnel from entering restricted areas.
• Verify personnel authorization and maintain accurate access control logs in accordance with the Construction Security Plan (CSP).
• Monitor construction personnel and activities to ensure compliance with established security procedures and requirements.
• CAGs will conduct security inspections of personnel, personal belongings, and construction materials as directed by the Government Special Security Officer (GSSO) or Site Security Manager (SSM).
• Identify and immediately report security violations, suspicious activities, unauthorized access attempts, and deviations from the approved CSP to the SSM.
• CAG's will assist with implementing physical security measures to safeguard the construction site and maintain compliance with ICD/ICS 705 security requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of security activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with established reporting procedures.
• CAG's will follow established opening and closing security procedures and support the protection of the Secure Construction Site throughout construction.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education:

• HS Diploma, or equivalent
