Job summary

Goodwill Southern California is hiring Clearance Center Associates to support our mission of transforming lives through the power of work. In this role, you’ll help drive the final stage of our retail process—supporting product flow, salvage operations, and customer interactions that keep our clearance centers efficient, organized, and impactful.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, lifting and moving donated goods, and assisting customers.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing English proficient.
• Physically active environment (lifting, moving, standing).
• Basic math skills for transactions.
• Dependable and punctual with minimal supervision.
• Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic.
• Flexible to work weekends/holidays.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily clearance center operations from dock to floor.
• Assist with auctions, vendor coordination, and accountability processes.
• Load and unload trucks and handle donated goods safely.
• Operate cash registers and complete transactions when needed.
• Keep backroom and sales floor clean, safe, and organized.
• Support salvage, recycling, and waste processes per standards.
• Contribute to overall production, sales, and operational goals.
