Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company in Columbus, NE is seeking a Cleaning Operator to sanitize and maintain Clean Rooms and related areas, ensuring adherence to BD quality systems and safety regulations. The role requires attendance, and interaction with various clean rooms and gowning areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning critical areas, stocking PPE, replacing mats, and coordinating cleaning efforts during scheduled shutdowns.

Qualifications

• HS/GED or 2 years' experience in lieu of education.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Clean SCF, RNS, Stopper, Finals Inspecting, Casepack, and Window Load areas.
• Stock jumpsuits, gowns, hoods, gloves, and masks in the Clean Rooms.
• Replace sticky mats as assigned per schedule
• Use power sweeper every day in all areas.
• Lead the activity of the cleaning crews during July and December shutdowns.
• Respond to and coordinate cleaning efforts due to Clean Room depressurization.
• Other duties as assigned.
