Job summary

BD is seeking a Cleaning Operator to sanitize and clean the Hypak SCF Syringe Processing areas, including Clean Rooms and gowning areas, ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations. The role requires attention to detail and punctual attendance in a regulated manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate in English, and may be required to work in shifts and during site shutdowns.

Qualifications

• HS/GED or 2 years' experience in lieu of education.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Clean SCF, RNS, Stopper, Finals Inspecting, Casepack, and Window Load areas.
• Stock jumpsuits, gowns, hoods, gloves, and masks in the Clean Rooms.
• Replace sticky mats as assigned per schedule.
• Use power sweeper every day in all areas.
• Lead the activity of the cleaning crews during July and December shutdowns.
• Respond to and coordinate cleaning efforts due to Clean Room depressurization.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Cleaning Operator is responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of Hypak SCF Syringe Processing areas. This includes SCF Barrel Clean Rooms, Finals Inspection area, Stopper Clean Rooms, RNS Clean Rooms and Gowning Rooms. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and practices and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.
