Job summary

AbbVie Westport is seeking a talented Shift Supervisor for the Contamination Control team. The role is shift-based, rotating days and nights monthly.

You will lead a team responsible for sanitising cleanrooms and associated areas in the Biological cores, ensuring compliance with GxP and GMP, and maintaining audit-ready records. The position requires strong technical knowledge, effective people leadership, and excellent communication across functional groups to drive QA/QC excellence and site

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in science or engineering related discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices, and procedure.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills essential for working across multi-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate contamination control activities on the assigned shift, prioritising based on production requirements and KPIs.
• Manage, motivate, and develop the contamination control team through coaching and reviews.
• Ensure audit readiness of areas and documentation; complete autoclave cycles and filter testing per procedures.
• Maintain stock of cleaning/disinfectants and PPE; ensure proper gowning and sanitation practices.
• Complete documentation/logbooks accurately and on time following Good Documentation Practices.
