Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks an Assembly Supervisor to lead a cleanroom production cell in Rancho Cordova, CA. You will manage a skilled team, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery, and drive continuous improvement in a highly technical environment.

You will plan schedules, assign work, coach staff, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve challenges and optimize cycle times.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze production data and drive measurable operational improvements.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, Lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools.
• Experience working in a cleanroom, regulated manufacturing, or high-quality production environment.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams in a supervisory or equivalent leadership role.
• 4–6 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Lean certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise cleanroom manufacturing employees to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery objectives.
• Plan, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on labor, materials, equipment, and business priorities.
• Assign work, balance workloads, and remove obstacles impacting production flow.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate employees while fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols, contamination-control requirements, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to solve production challenges.
• Monitor KPIs and use data to improve cycle time, labor efficiency, yield, and schedule attainment.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions related to quality and production issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, workflow, and product movement.
• Support staffing, cross-training, and succession planning activities.
