Job summary

Our client in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a GMP Cleaning Technician to support a GMP-controlled area cleaning program. Under Facilities supervision you will perform routine cleaning and maintenance while adhering to safety, quality, and GDP documentation procedures.

Requirements include 1–2 years GMP cleaning experience, ability to follow procedures, basic computer skills, and SAP work-order training. Onsite shift 4:00 PM–12:30 AM, Monday–Friday; long-term contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience cleaning GMP-controlled areas or spaces.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to accurately complete required documentation and paperwork.
• Ability to safely work around cleaning chemicals and facility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of GMP areas, including ceilings, walls, floors, drains, stainless steel surfaces, windows, and ledges.
• Maintain GMP floors, including epoxy, concrete, rubber tile, and sheet vinyl, through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and other approved methods.
• Vacuum and dust vents within GMP areas.
• Collect and dispose of non-biological waste and recyclable materials throughout GMP areas.
• Follow all safety procedures, protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with the Supervisor/Manager to schedule daily work and assignments.
• Verify that all work is performed according to current procedures and established standards.
• Complete required training in SAP and use SAP for work-order execution.
• Prepare and communicate nightly site activity updates to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintain inventory of GMP cleaning supplies and elevate supply or operational issues as needed.
• Complete documentation accurately in accordance withGDP.
• Report issues related to quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Supervisor.
• Perform routine tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain a professional attitude and effective communication at all times.
• Safely operate cleaning and facility equipment as required.
