Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience cleaning GMP-controlled areas or spaces.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to accurately complete required documentation and paperwork.
• Ability to safely work around cleaning chemicals and facility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of GMP areas, including ceilings, walls, floors, drains, stainless steel surfaces, windows, and ledges.
• Maintain GMP floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and other approved methods.
• Vacuum and dust vents within GMP areas.
• Collect and dispose of non-biological waste and recyclable materials.
• Follow all safety procedures, protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Schedule daily work with Supervisor/Manager and verify work per procedures.
• Complete required SAP training and use SAP for work orders.
• Prepare nightly site activity updates for Supervisor/Manager.
• Maintain inventory of GMP cleaning supplies and escalate issues as needed.
• Complete GDP-compliant documentation.
• Report quality/process/equipment/material issues to Supervisor.

Job Summary

Dawar Consulting is seeking a GMP Cleaning Technician to support Genentech’s Innovative Therapies program in Hillsboro, Oregon. Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, this position will perform routine cleaning and maintenance activities within GMP-controlled areas while following established safety, quality, and documentation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of GMP areas, including ceilings, walls, floors, drains, stainless steel surfaces, windows, and ledges.
• Maintain GMP floors, including epoxy, concrete, rubber tile, and sheet vinyl, through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and other approved methods.
• Vacuum and dust vents within GMP areas.
• Collect and dispose of non-biological waste and recyclable materials throughout GMP areas.
• Follow all safety procedures, protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with the Supervisor/Manager to schedule daily work and assignments.
• Verify that all work is performed according to current procedures and established standards.
• Complete required training in SAP and use SAP for work-order execution.
• Prepare and communicate nightly site activity updates to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintain inventory of GMP cleaning supplies and **escalate** supply or operational issues as needed.
• Complete documentation accurately in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) .
• Report issues related to quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Supervisor.
• Perform routine tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain a professional attitude and effective communication at all times.
• Safely operate cleaning and facility equipment as required.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 1-2 years of experience cleaning GMP-controlled areas or spaces.

• Experience using equipment such as:

• Floor scrubbers

• Scissor lifts

• Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds , including boxes, mop buckets, and furniture.

Work Environment

• 100% onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon
• Evening/night shift: 4:00 PM-12:30 AM, Monday-Friday
• Work is performed in GMP-controlled/facility areas and may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Position requires standing, walking, repetitive movements, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
