Job summary

Coastal Building Maintenance is seeking a dependable Full-Time Cleaner for a medical facility in Burlington, VT. Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–1:30 AM, $18.00 per hour, with benefits including medical insurance and paid time off.

The ideal candidate will maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, following health, safety, and infection-control procedures. Prior janitorial or medical cleaning experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial, medical, or janitorial cleaning experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Professional and respectful attitude in a medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect medical exam rooms, including high-touch surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas.
• Clean and maintain offices, waiting rooms, and lobbies.
• Clean and maintain conference rooms and common areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform routine cleaning duties.
• Follow established cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
• Properly use and care for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment throughout the facility.
• Follow all applicable health, safety, and infection-control procedures.
