Job summary

Coastal Building Maintenance is seeking a hardworking janitor to join our cleaning team in the Miami area. You will perform general cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary and welcoming environment for tenants and guests. We value reliability and the ability to work independently, and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Willingness to learn
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish – preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Bend down or stoop frequently
• May need to lift heavy objects
• Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
