Job summary

Miami Valley Gaming is seeking a Supervisor to oversee cleaning attendants and lead attendants, ensuring clean, orderly spaces in line with company standards.

You will assign duties, monitor performance, train staff, enforce safety policies, and look for ways to improve housekeeping practices while maintaining guest satisfaction and efficient operations. You will also handle administrative tasks such as daily assignments and attendance, while upholding SERVE standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervision experience preferred.
• Knowledge of housekeeping chemicals and procedures considered a plus.
• Conflict resolution and people management abilities.

SUMMARY: Supervises work activities of cleaning attendants and lead attendants to ensure clean, orderly and attractive areas in keeping with company standards and policies.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assigns attendants cleaning duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards in both public and back of the house areas.
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of the proper usage of all housekeeping chemicals and procedures.
• Utilizes a hands-on approach with strong leadership skills to successfully train and motivate team members.
• Follows and enforces all company policies, procedures and safety regulations.
• Recognizes and recommends opportunities for process improvements in housekeeping practices.
• Experienced in conflict resolution and the willingness to assist in solving work related problems.
• Completes administrative requirements such as but not limited to: issuance of daily assignments, inputting of time and attendance, providing positive, corrective counselling and processing materials requests.
• Follows GuestPath Universal Service Standards, Operational Service Standards, and SERVE expectations at all times.
• Performs duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
• Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
