Job summary

Blue Chip Pros is seeking a supervisor to lead daily cleaning operations for assigned buildings, ensuring clean, orderly conditions and adherence to safety standards.

The role involves orienting new hires, planning workloads, allocating resources, and maintaining a productive team focused on quality and customer service. Occasional floor care tasks and equipment maintenance may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operations, services and activities of a commercial cleaning program.
• Methods, procedures, materials and equipment used in commercial cleaning.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).
• Ability to supervise, organize and review the work of lower level staff.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that new employees are properly oriented and are aware of performance requirements.
• Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise and review the daily work of staff.
• Establish schedules, work goals and methods for providing cleaning services; identify resource needs; review needs with appropriate management staff; allocate resources accordingly – utilizing staff input.
• Maintain a motivational and supportive working environment for staff.
• Implement and support customer service goals.
• Utilization of Q.A. Program to quantify personnel performance.
• Utilization of Blue Chips’ training and safety information to ensure employee safety and compliance through continued training.
• Communication with management to coordinate tasks and solicit feedback on specific needs related to area of responsibility.
• Develop and maintain a sense of urgency and follow-through related to correcting customer service issues.
• Follow-through on all requests for all routine and non-routine tasks.
• Specifically responsible for proper use of products and equipment.
