The T.E.A. Center is seeking a dependable Cleaning & housekeeping Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff. The role focuses on classroom, restroom, and common area cleaning and organization to support daily activities.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning, housekeeping, custodial, or janitorial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash throughout the school.
• Clean and maintain high-touch areas and surfaces regularly.
• Help keep classrooms and shared spaces neat, organized, and ready for daily activities.
• Monitor and restock cleaning, restroom, and sanitation supplies.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Properly use and store cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Assist with cleaning and setup for school events and activities as needed.
• Report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns promptly to management.
• Support the overall cleanliness and appearance of the school throughout the day.
