Job Summary

This role provides high visibility at street level, carrying out various tasks to improve the appearance of the assigned service district.

Essential Functions

1. Manual Litter Collection: Circulate through the work zone with supplies to remove litter, debris, and trash from sidewalks, gutters, and alleys.
2. Graffiti and Poster Removal: Remove graffiti and posters from public infrastructure such as light posts and trash cans.
3. Weed Pulling: Remove weeds around tree wells, sidewalk cracks, and vacant lots.
4. Surface Cleaning: Wipe and straighten surfaces like trash can lids and news boxes.
5. Observe and Report: Monitor for unwanted behaviors or criminal activity and report via two-way radios.
6. Customer Service: Engage with pedestrians, provide directions, and offer friendly assistance.
7. Reporting: Document infrastructure issues and daily tasks using smartphones.
8. Professionalism: Maintain a positive, professional demeanor in compliance with company standards.
