Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Greater Houston - North in North Houston, TX is seeking a Cleaning and Restoration Technician to join our on-site team. The Cleaning and Restoration Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in North Houston, TX. This team member performs professional cleaning services for carpets, hardwood floors, tile and grout, and upholstery, following company standards and safety procedures. The role includes responding to water damage events, assisting with mold remediation and odor mitigation, setting up and monitoring equipment, and documenting work performed. The technician interacts with customers on-site, explains services, answers questions, and provides a courteous, professional experience. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining tools and vehicles, preparing job sites, following environmental and safety guidelines, and collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform hands-on cleaning work, including carpet, hardwood, tile, grout, and upholstery services, with attention to detail and quality.
• Experience or strong interest in restoration work, such as water damage mitigation, basic structural drying, mold remediation support, and odor removal.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients, explain services, and address concerns on-site.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using cleaning and restoration equipment, with the ability to follow safety and operational instructions.
• Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in varied conditions (e.g., wet areas, confined spaces).
• Reliable work habits, punctuality, and the ability to follow schedules, work orders, and company procedures consistently.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in cleaning, restoration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
