Job summary

Lapels Cleaners Germantown is seeking a Cleaner/Spotter with solid dry cleaning plant experience to help ensure production quality and profitability. You will perform professional spotting, run loads, and finish garments while coordinating with finishers and pressers.

Daily responsibilities include sorting garments, overseeing station workflow, and maintaining profitable production levels through quality work.

• Three years of industry experience in running a Dry Cleaning Plant.
• Open minded to seeing the benefits of the Lapels program and systems of production.

The Cleaner/Spotter of an Environmentally Friendly Lapels Plant is responsible for ensuring the overall production quality and profitability of garment cleaning.We typically look for a person with three (3) years of industry experience, who not only has prior knowledge of running a Dry Cleaning Plant, but is also open minded to seeing the benefits of using the Lapels program and systems of production.

At Lapels, a Cleaner/Spotter will daily be responsible for such items as:

• Professional Spotting – including recognizing the type of stain and either pre spotting or post spotting that garment
• Running dry cleaning loads
• Finishing of garments
• Overseeing finishers & pressers to ensure quality work at profitable production levels
• Overall control of work
• Sorting of garments to proper stations throughout Plant
