Planet Fitness is looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join our growing team! The Overnight Cleaner provides an essential role in ensuring a clean and sanitized club so we can provide the best experience for our members! Requires an overnight schedule and may have daytime hours. Please inquire at the interview for the hours needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms/locker room areas, fitness equipment and gym floor.
2. Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.
3. Properly dispose of trash and recycling.
4. Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude towards our members during interactions.
5. Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
6. Follow the “Lost and Found Policy” and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager.
7. Enjoy a free Black Card Membership with access to any location, tanning, and bringing a friend!

Requirements

1. Custodial experience (preferred).
2. Punctuality and reliability.
3. Ability to work overnight hours, if applicable.
4. Honesty and exceptional work ethic.
5. Ability to solve problems independently.
6. Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
7. High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
8. Must be 18 years of age or older.

This role is subject to successful completion of a background check, after offer acceptance. All background screens will be conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.

Physical Demands

1. Continual standing and walking during shift.
2. Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift.
3. Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during shift.
4. Must be able to occasionally lift over 50 pounds.
5. Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals.
