Job summary

CentraCare Health at St. Cloud Hospital is seeking a Hospital Cleaner (EVS) to help keep patient rooms and public areas safe and clean. We are looking for Day Shift workers with good communication skills for both part-time morning shifts and full-time options.

Previous housekeeping experience is not required; a fast-paced, dependable worker who can follow schedules and wear scrubs is preferred. Pay starts at $17.88 per hour, with higher pay for experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• May be required to wear Hospital Scrubs (pants)
• Must be at least 18 years of age due to handling of cleaning chemicals and operating mechanical lifts

• Tasks include: vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms.
• Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids.

Job description

Find your purpose joining CentraCare and the St. Cloud Hospital as a Hospital Cleaner (EVS), working to keep our patients safe and our facilities clean. We are seeking qualified Day Shiftworkers with good communication skills for various Part-time morning shifts.

This is a fast-paced position that requires interacting and communicating with others while sanitizing patient rooms and public spaces throughout the hospital. Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is ideal but not required. What is required is a fast-paced, hard worker that can communicate efficiently and be dependable to the scheduled shifts.

You will need to communicate fluently in this position as you will have direct contact with patients, families, doctors, nurses and other staff members that will need to conduct conversations with you during the work shift.

Schedule:

• Full-time | 8-hour shifts | Start Times may be 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm.
  • Pants (scrubs) are required work uniform in this role.
• Part-time | 16 - 31 Hours every two weeks (Current openings are all part time).
• Casual | 0-8 Hours every two weeks (one weekend a month scheduled, with pick-up shift options)
• Every other weekend/holiday rotations

Pay and Benefits (Total Rewards):

• Wage rates start at $17.88 per hour offering more with experience.
  • Full pay range for this position is $17.00 to $26.05 hourly.
