Job Title

Cleaner, Full Time 3rd Shift

Job Description Summary

This Cleaner position is temporary and involves performing daily and periodic cleaning activities in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, corridors, and exterior areas, following prescribed procedures. Responsibilities may include waste disposal, dusting, spot cleaning, furniture and surface care, floor servicing, fixture cleaning, and waste policing, depending on client expectations and supervisor discretion.

Responsibilities

1. Perform daily and periodic cleaning tasks as directed.
2. Maintain a neat work area, including janitorial closets and storage.
3. Follow approved cleaning procedures.
4. Maintain cleaning equipment and report repairs.
5. Manage supply levels in storage areas.
6. Work safely, report unsafe conditions, and wear appropriate PPE.
7. Meet quality expectations and assist in training new employees.
8. Adhere to security procedures and communicate issues to management.
9. Perform window, glass, and wall cleaning; trash collection; restroom and floor care; and periodic tasks like high dusting and wall washing.
10. Use specialized equipment such as Kaivac machines.
11. Assist with special projects and overtime as needed.

Basic cleaning skills are sufficient for responsibilities; ability to speak and read English is a plus. Must work well with minimal supervision, pay attention to detail, and demonstrate energy and organization. Use of cleaning tools and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
