Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Maintenance/Custodial/Cleaner to support a school by performing cleaning and custodial duties under the supervision of the Principal and Head Custodian. The role contributes to protecting buildings, equipment and furniture through diligent, safety-first work.

Schedule is 7.0 hours per day, five days per week, 260 days per year, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Candidates need a high school diploma, the ability to lift 50 pounds, reliability and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma. Works skills substantiated by training and/or relevant work experience.
• An acceptable score on a pre-employment skill test may be required.
• Ability to lift/move items weighing 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Collects, records and maintains data accurately. Applies basic mathematical concepts correctly.
• Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies and administrative guidelines/procedures.
• Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks. Reacts to interruptions/emerging priorities effectively.
• Demonstrates evidence of appropriate literacy and numeracy skills (i.e. reading comprehension, written/oral communication, mathematical reasoning/application, etc.).
• Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts personal responsibility for decisions/conduct.
• Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
