Job summary

Resintech Inc in Camden, NJ is seeking a Cleaner for the 2nd shift to help maintain clean facilities in the plant and warehouse. You will perform sweeping, mopping, restrooms, waste handling, and other cleaning duties.

Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent; experience in manufacturing is a plus. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, with a full-time, on-site schedule.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Pick up any trash found in the plant and warehouse which include things like wood chips from pallets, stretch wrap, banding material, cardboard, labels, and label backing.
• Gather and empty trash receptacle in designated locations.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Clean the exterior of the building by picking up cigarette butts and other trash found on the grounds.
• Operate industrial sweeper to clean plant & warehouse floor.
• Operate power washer to clean the interior and exterior of the building.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, and chairs, to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
• Notify QA Manager of labeling issues.
• Report individuals who are not proper storing media to QA Manager.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
