Job summary

Vonachen Group in Indianapolis is seeking a part-time janitor for the 2nd shift (Mon, Wed, Fri 6:30PM - 10:30PM). Responsibilities include cleaning, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, and trash disposal, plus stocking supplies and reporting hazards.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with reliable transportation, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess good communication, attention to detail, and customer-friendly attitude.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, sweep, vacuum, mop and sanitize restrooms and remove trash.
• Stock, organize and maintain janitor supply rooms.
• Inform management immediately of safety risks or needed repairs.
• Monitor building security by locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and trainings as assigned.

Job responsibilities

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
