Loving-Hands-Cleaning in Tallahassee is seeking turnover cleaners for short-term rental properties. You will reset each property between guest stays so it is spotless, fully stocked and photo-ready for the next check-in.

Job Summary:

We are hiring turnover cleaners for short-term rental (Airbnb) properties in the Tallahassee, Florida area. You will reset each property between guest stays so it is spotless, fully stocked and photo-ready before the next check-in.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning

• Dust, wipe and sanitize all surfaces, including counters, tables, nightstands, lamps, door handles and remotes
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms: showers/tubs, sinks, toilets, mirrors, vanity
• Clean the kitchen: appliances inside and out, sink, counters, cabinet fronts, dishes and cookware
• Vacuum all carpets and rugs; vacuum and mop all hard floors
• Empty all trash and recycling and replace liners
• Spot-clean walls, doors and windows; clean mirrors and glass streak-free

Reset and staging

• Strip beds, remake with fresh linens and set up towels to the property's standard layout
• Restock consumables: toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, coffee and any items listed on the property checklist
• Return furniture and decor to its staged position
• Start, move and fold laundry on schedule; bag and report any linens that are stained or damaged

Inspection and reporting

• Walk through every room against the property checklist before leaving
• Take completion photos of each room, as required by the checklist
• Report damage, missing items, maintenance issues, pests, left-behind guest belongings and any excessive mess to the manager immediately, with photos
• Lock up, set thermostat and confirm access codes or lockboxes are secured on exit

Requirements

• Age 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to reach properties across the Tallahassee area on time
• Ability to follow a written checklist exactly and work without direct supervision
• Strong attention to detail: you notice hair, dust, smudges and stains others miss
• Honest and trustworthy: you will be alone in guests' and owners' properties and will be given access codes and keys
• A smartphone for checklists, photos and messaging with the manager
• Willingness to pass a background check
• Minimum of 1 year professional cleaning experience, ideally in short-term rentals, hotels or housekeeping
• Experience working to tight turnaround windows between check-out and check-in
• Ability to work weekends and holidays, when most turnovers happen

Physical demands:

you will be on your feet for most of a shift and need to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (laundry bags, vacuum, supplies), bend, kneel, climb stairs and reach overhead repeatedly.
