Job summary

Move Smart Rentals is seeking experienced cleaners to prepare vacant rental homes for the next tenant. This independent, appointment-based role involves cleaning across homes and apartments, with final walkthroughs and clear digital instructions.

You will travel directly to scheduled properties, bring your own supplies, and work autonomously under property-specific guidelines, ensuring high-quality finishes and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of paid professional cleaning experience.
• Experience with move-in, move-out, deep cleaning or vacant-unit turnover.
• Own vehicle and cleaning supplies/equipment required.
• Smartphone for GPS, orders, photos and updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform move-in and move-out cleaning of vacant properties.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and floors.
• Take completion photos and report issues or maintenance needs.
• Update assignments through the mobile work app and follow property-specific instructions.

Compensation: $32.50 per hour

Help Get Rental Homes Ready for Their Next Tenant

Move Smart Rentals helps property owners prepare and lease residential rental properties. A major part of that process is making sure each home is clean, presentable, and ready for showings or move-in.

We are looking for experienced cleaners who can take responsibility for a vacant property, complete a detailed clean, and leave it ready for the next stage. This is independent, appointment-based work across rental homes and apartments.

The Work

Assignments May Include

• Move-in cleaning
• Move-out cleaning
• Vacant-unit turnover cleaning
• Deep cleaning before a property is listed or occupied
• Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and floors
• Cleaning inside cabinets, drawers, closets, and appliances
• Cleaning baseboards, windowsills, doors, fixtures, and detailed surfaces
• Completing a final walkthrough before leaving
• Taking clear completion photos
• Reporting damage, maintenance concerns, or areas that cannot be properly cleaned
• Updating the assignment through a mobile work app

You will travel directly to scheduled properties and complete each assignment independently.

What You Need to Bring

• At least 2 years of paid professional cleaning experience
• Experience with move-in, move-out, deep cleaning, Airbnb turnover, vacant-unit cleaning, or similar work
• Your own reliable vehicle
• Your own cleaning supplies and equipment
• A suitable smartphone for GPS, mobile work orders, photos, instructions, and job updates
• The ability to work independently and follow property-specific instructions
• Basic English communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual attendance
