Servicon Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented janitorial staff member in the Los Angeles area to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned facilities.

The role involves thorough cleaning, waste handling, and safe operation of cleaning procedures to meet client and company standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate reliable time management, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to a safe and healthy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1+ years custodial cleaning experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe waste receptacles; remove waste to designated areas.
• Vacuum rugs and carpets; sweep/dust-mop floors; clean spills in offices, lobbies, corridors, and public areas.
• Dust and wipe office furniture, fixtures, windowsills, diffusers, and surfaces.
• Remove fingerprints and smudges from doors, frames, switches, and glass surfaces.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Role

Directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all assigned areas using established practices and procedures according to company and client standards of quality and safety. May require frequent interaction with client.

What You Will Do

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
