Job summary

Servicon, a family- and women-owned local environmental solutions company, is seeking a custodial professional in Fort Worth, TX. You will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining assigned areas according to quality and safety standards.

You may interact with clients as needed. Ideal candidates have 1+ year custodial cleaning experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles and remove waste to designated areas.
• Vacuum rugs and carpeted areas, sweep hard floors, damp-mop spills in offices and public areas.
• Dust and wipe all office furniture, fixtures, and surfaces including doors and switches.
• Remove finger marks from doors, frames, and partitions.
• Keep janitor’s closet tidy and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Role

Directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all assigned areas using established practices and procedures according to company and client standards of quality and safety. May require frequent interaction with client.

What You Will Do

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
