PeopleReady in Kittery, ME is seeking a dependable Cleaner to join our team. You will clean and prepare rooms for turnover, restock supplies, and maintain high standards of cleanliness across multiple spaces.

• Clean and prepare 25-28 rooms during turnover periods.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize all room surfaces.
• Clean bathrooms, windows, and in-room appliances (microwaves, refrigerators).
• Remove trash and recycling; replace liners.
• Strip, collect, transport, and redistribute linens for up to 62 beds.
• Sort, fold, and prepare clean linens ("bed bags") for distribution.
• Place clean linen sets in each room for incoming occupants.
• Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
• Inspect rooms for damages or maintenance issues and report findings.
• Set room conditions (thermos per guidelines).

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Cleaner:

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Reliable transportation required
