Job summary

Servicon in Diamond Bar, CA is seeking a diligent janitor to clean, sanitize, and maintain assigned areas in accordance with our standards. You will perform waste handling, surface cleaning, and housekeeping duties across offices and common spaces, with frequent client interaction as needed.

This role rewards reliability, teamwork, and good time management. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 1+ years custodial experience.

Responsibilities

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles and remove waste to designated areas.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep floors, and damp-mop spills in offices and common areas.
• Dust and wipe office furniture, fixtures, and surfaces including walls and switches.
• Remove fingerprints and smudges from doors and high-contact surfaces.
• Keep janitor's closet clean, neat, and orderly; follow safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The Role

Directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all assigned areas using established practices and procedures according to company and client standards of quality and safety. May require frequent interaction with client.

What You Will Do

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air‑conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor's closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
