Clean Up General Laborer

AHF Products has an exciting career opportunity for a Clean-up General Laborer to be located at our Sawmill in Smoot, WV. Reporting to the site manager, the Clean-up General Laborer will be responsible for general clean-up throughout the mill. If you are dependable and would like to be part of a team that leans on one another, we have just the position for you.

JOB DUTIES:

• Sweeping dust and bark.
• Shoveling dust and bark onto a conveyor.
• Climbing over/under equipment to clean all areas.
• Other general clean-up of the facility.
• Perform any other work-related task deemed necessary by the mill management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening.
• Positive and Verifiable Work History.
• Ability to work occasional overtime.
• Prior sawmill experience is preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Push, pull, carry and lift 20 - 50lbs.
• Frequent walking and sitting.
• Regular stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping and other such repetitive movements.
• Must be able to communicate, hear, comprehend, and write in English.
• Frequent exposure to dust.
• Exposure to noise environment requiring hearing protection.
• Must be able and willing to work in non-temperature-controlled environment, exposed to weather conditions.
