G.S. Precision, Inc. is seeking a Clean Room Technician/Coatings Float Person for the 1st shift.

You will perform clean-room prep, part and filter cleaning, and documentation to ensure products meet specifications. The role includes sandblasting and coverage in coatings as needed. Ideal candidates have meticulous attention to detail, the ability to read prints and SOPs, and the capacity to operate calibration tools and measuring equipment.

• Set up and prepare the clean room; perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and preparation.
• Manage cleaning solutions and test and calibrate equipment.
• Clean parts using ultrasonic cleaning followed by manual brushing; dry parts as required.
• Operate the filtration system and weigh filters at different stages.
• Use an oven to dry filters and parts.
• Categorize and laminate completed filters; inspect under a microscope for contamination.
• Complete required paperwork and ship conforming parts.
• Perform sandblasting duties and support coatings area as needed.

Clean Room Technician/Coatings Float Person — 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Position Summary The Clean Room Technician performs clean-room preparation, part and filter cleaning, filtration, inspection, documentation, and packaging to ensure products meet applicable requirements and specifications. The role also includes sandblasting and providing coverage or support in other areas of the department as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Start up and prepare the clean room; perform required daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and preparation.
• Manage cleaning solutions and test and calibrate equipment as required.
• Clean parts using ultrasonic cleaning followed by manual cleaning with a nylon brush; dry parts as required.
• Operate the filtration system and weigh filters at different stages using a scale.
• Use an oven to dry filters and parts.
• Catalog and laminate completed filters.
• Inspect filters under a microscope for hard-particle contamination.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Vacuum-seal, package, and ship conforming parts.
• Perform sandblasting duties.
• Provide coverage and assist in other areas of the coatings department as needed.

Salary Description $20.00- $25.00 an hour
