Job summary

MSR-FSR in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Blasting/Grinding Production Technician to process parts from high-tech manufacturing customers. The role requires following written procedures, maintaining cleanroom standards, and using blasting techniques to achieve high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, inspecting surfaces, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting inventory and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

Ability to read English and follow technical procedures and instructions.
Ability to pass required drug screening and background check.
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
This is a safety sensitive position; the ability to maintain the appropriate standards is required.

Responsibilities

Execute surface preparation using blasting techniques to ensure quality finishes.
Prepare and set up blasting equipment with appropriate media and settings.
Inspect surfaces before and after blasting for cleanliness and texture per standards.
Follow written work instructions and annotate steps completed.
Wear and maintain required PPE and safety equipment at all times.
Assist in maintaining processing equipment and keeping cleanroom practices.
