Job summary

Major Tool & Machine in Indianapolis is seeking a dedicated ASSEMBLER for the clean room environment on third shift. You will assemble components per customer work orders, read engineering documents, and ensure precise tolerances while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Educational background as above; HS diploma required.
• 1 year in manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-clean room wash operations and follow clean room entry procedures.
• Carry out complex assembly using tools and equipment within clean room.
• Read blueprints/drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Use torque wrenches and understand torque sequencing.
• Operate precision measuring instruments and verify specifications.
• Install fasteners, inserts, and keenserts as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment used in assembly operations.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and proper PPE.
