Job summary

Major Tool & Machine is seeking an ASSEMBLER - CLEAN ROOM for a 3rd shift in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on accurate assembly in a clean room environment per customer orders and engineering documents.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using torque wrenches, precision measuring tools, and ensuring conformance to tolerances while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Team collaboration with the Clean Room Team Leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-clean room wash operations and follow entry procedures.
• Perform complex assembly using a variety of tools in clean room.
• Read and interpret blueprints and routing instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Use torque wrenches and understand torque methods and sequencing.
• Use precision measuring instruments and tools.
• Install thread inserts and fasteners.
• Operate and troubleshoot assembly equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organized work area.
• Enter data into IDC labor reporting system.
