Major Tool & Machine in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a dedicated Clean Room Assembly Technician for the 3rd shift. The role focuses on precise assembly of components in a clean room, reading blueprints, and using torque tools and precision instruments.

Candidates need a high school diploma and some trade training; manufacturing experience is preferred. The position reports to the Team Leader – Clean Room, and emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and accuracy in producing conforming parts within

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools in a clean room.
• Diploma or equivalent required; vocational training preferred but not required.
• Experience with torque tools and precision measurement is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-clean room wash operations and entry procedures.
• Carry out complex assemblies using various tools in a clean room.
• Read blueprints to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Use torque wrenches and calibrate torque sequences.
• Operate precision measuring instruments to inspect parts.
• Install thread inserts and fasteners as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment used in assembly and maintain cleanliness.
