Job summary

Durex Industries in Illinois seeks an Assembler to support fabricating, machining, and assembling parts for subassemblies and final assemblies. You will prepare, assemble, and test components to meet project specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least one year of manufacturing experience as an assembler or in a related role.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Knowledge of safety practices in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and organize materials and tools per work orders and blueprints.
• Assemble parts accurately following diagrams and instructions.
• Conduct inspections and tests; update inspection reports.
• Perform live power tests to verify performance and safety.
• Operate machines to prepare materials for assembly.
• Maintain accurate records and follow ISO 9001:2000 procedures.
• Follow safety policies and participate in process improvements.
