Seal & Design Inc. is a family-owned company headquartered in Clarence, NY, with five divisions serving the U.S. and Canada.

We manufacture gaskets, o-rings, seals, molded rubber and plastics, die-cut foams and more for diverse industries. Shift: Flexible between 7:00AM - 3:30PM; Pay: $20.00-$23.00/hour. Responsibilities include following job specs, recording production, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a computer-based environment with business/ERP software.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Follows job specifications for packaging as detailed on the job card.
• Records start and completion of job.
• Removes web from stamped parts and completes visual inspection.
• Escalates to supervisor of shortfalls in quality; suspends sorting until issue is resolved; escalates to Plant Manager if needed.
• Performs secondary inspection as directed by Plant Manager or Quality Control Dept.
• Follows FIFO protocol for inventory rotation.
• Maintains proper housekeeping during and at the end of work shift.
• Meets or exceeds department efficiency and productivity goals.
• Cross trains and assists in other departments as required to meet production needs/deadline.
