Job summary

Seal & Design, Inc. is seeking a Packager for first shift to support our manufacturing operations in Clarence, NY. The role involves following precise packaging specifications, recording job progress, and ensuring product quality through inspection.

The Packager will work with a team and contribute to meeting daily production goals. You will need at least a High School Diploma and 1 year of manufacturing experience.

• Proficiency working in a computer-supported environment with business software.
• Strong math and language skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Follows job specifications for packaging as detailed on the job card.
• Records start and completion of each job.
• Removes web from stamped parts and completes visual inspection.
• Advises supervisor of quality shortfalls and escalates to Plant Manager if needed.
• Performs secondary inspection as directed by Plant Manager or Quality Control Dept.
• Follows FIFO protocol for inventory rotation.
• Maintains proper housekeeping during and at the end of shift.
• Meets or exceeds department efficiency and productivity goals.
• Cross trains and assists in other departments as required to meet production needs.

We are looking for a Packager to join our team!

First Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $24.00/Hour

Responsibilities

• Follows job specifications for packaging as detailed on the job card
• Records start and completion of job
• Removes web from stamped parts and completes visual inspection
• Advies supervisor of shortfalls in quality and temporarily suspends sorting until issue is resolved; escalates to Plant Manager if needed
• Performs secondary inspection as directed by Plant Manager or Quality Control Dept
• Follows FIFO protocol for inventory rotation
• Maintains proper housekeeping during and at the end of work shift
• Meets or exceeds department efficiency and productivity goals

Cross trains and assists in other departments as required to meet production needs/deadline
