Job summary

Sonoma State University is seeking a Classroom Technology Support Specialist to deliver advanced technical support and consultation for classroom technologies across campus. You will work with CTET, Academic Affairs, departments, and IT to ensure reliable access to systems, data, and applications.

The role includes Tier I support at the CTET help desk, involvement in special projects, and leading faculty workshops on technical and pedagogical topics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or certified coursework.
At least 3 years of classroom technology experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier I–II classroom technology support in SSU general assignment rooms.
Collaborate with CTET and campus partners to maintain classroom tech.
Lead workshops and trainings for faculty on technical and pedagogical topics.
Support CTET help desk with basic academic technology needs.
