Job summary

Paradise Valley Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant/Classroom Assistant HQ at Hidden Hills Elementary School. The position runs for 9 months, 6.5 hours per day, starting 08/03/2026, with benefits including ASRS, paid sick/personal time, medical, and optional dental/vision.

HQ qualifications require a HS Diploma or GED plus one of: 60 postsecondary hours, AA degree, or passing of the ParaPro Assessment (ETS Parapro Assessment) with related credentials.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adapt classroom activities and materials under supervising teacher to support and reinforce objectives.
• Administer tests, homework and makeup work to support teachers in the classroom.
• Escort and monitor students to ensure safe arrival and routines.
• Document instructional materials and records to ensure availability and compliance.
• Provide instruction to students in various activities to reinforce objectives and support IEPs.
