Job summary

Foundation Academy of Mansfield, part of ACCEL Schools, is seeking an Instructional Aide to assist the Teacher with classroom activities, support positive student behavior, and promote a safe, productive learning environment in Mansfield, Ohio.

You will help with lessons, plan activities, perform clerical tasks, use classroom technology, and assist with events and duties as assigned, while upholding the school’s philosophy and policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, two years of college, or the Paraprofessional’s Exam.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• BCI/FBI background check completed.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift 25–40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support lessons and follow instructional plans.
• Assist with classroom activities and student relations.
• Chaperone events and assist with meetings.
• Perform clerical duties including grading and copying.
• Assist in using classroom technology.
• Maintain cleanliness of classroom and lunchroom.
• Uphold school philosophy and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
